Hello everyone!
As most of you know the Saunders family currently are living in a rental home. It works, and it is a place to lay their heads, but not really a place where they dreamed of making family memories, especially as their little ones get settled in.
At this point they still have no idea what will happen with their insurance, no decision has been made, and you can imagine how that feels.
All of them just want to go home....but sadly, there still is no home, and there isn't even one in the works, they have no idea what is going to happen.
I'm asking each of you to pray about this, pray specifically for a home, and a home quickly!
I sent an application from China, Fed Ex directly to EHM. I know many of you have also. To date the Saunders haven't heard anything from them, not one word.
Is there a way we can bug EHM again? Can we make calls, letters, emails.....anything asking for them to consider the applications sent in for the Saunders family?
Just think about everything we take for granted everyday....the old pair of pajama pants that have holes but we have had for so long we just can't throw away....our favorite books, sitting on the shelves we can grab anytime....our favorite blankets to snuggle with when we are cold.....the treasures we have stored away of our kids just for the purposes of pulling out and looking at and remembering....all of that is gone. While they have acquired a lot of new stuff....and many people have sent so many gifts....they are having to learn to make the new familiar, and all of this while not knowing what, when or if in regards to their house.
NOW IS THE TIME. Even if you have never met Dwight and Linn in person, we are family, now is the time, the time to come around them again in prayer, in support, in just letting them know that we still remember that this is difficult and that we are here DOING whatever we can.
Perhaps besides prayer, whatever we can do right now is to FLOOD EHM WITH correspondence. In China, everything here is about who you know....well, I'm not ashamed to say....if anyone of you has connections with people who have connections....please use them and ask EHM for some consideration of this family!
